About Us
Grasta Productions is comprised of a director-producer and a musician-composer whose combined backgrounds give each project a clear narrative spine and a strong technical foundation. Allison brings expertise in storytelling, performer direction, and production management, while Bosco contributes a deep command of tone, texture, and musical structure. Together, they create audio that is intentional, well-paced, and built through an integrated process that includes concept development, direction, composition, and final production.

Who We Are
Bosco Sheff- Founder & Sound Engineer
Bosco Sheff is an audio producer, composer, and guitarist whose work is defined by a precise command of tone, texture, and narrative structure. His background spans blues, rock, and Americana, giving him a practical, lived-in understanding of how instruments and arrangements carry a story.
Originally from Boston, he began playing early and later attended the University of Southern California, where he joined Dan Povenmire’s (Phineas and Ferb) band Keep Left as lead guitarist. That period set the foundation for the approach he brings to audio today: disciplined musicianship, clear creative intent, and an ear trained to serve the whole piece rather than a single part.
Bosco deepened his technical range in Oakland, studying bottleneck slide guitar and lap steel under Steve Gannon while performing throughout the Bay Area’s blues circuit. In Los Angeles, he recorded and performed with multiple projects. He is an original member of Patrolled By Radar, a roots rock trio with a strong catalog and steady sync placements in television and film. He recorded several albums with producers John Wood and Peter Curry (Los Straightjackets), gaining firsthand experience in the studio environments that would later shape his own production work.
Today, Bosco channels this history into audio production and composition. His work blends technical precision with the instincts of a performer who understands how sound lands on a listener, and he collaborates with creators to build audio that is grounded, intentional, and structurally strong.
He brings the same discipline to composition, crafting original music that aligns with a project’s emotional and thematic needs rather than leaning on genre formulas. The result is audio that feels cohesive, deliberate, and shaped by someone who knows how to carry a story from the first note to the last.

Allison Sheff - Founder & Lead Producer
Allison is a director, producer, and project architect specializing in audio storytelling, narrative development, and end-to-end production management.
She moved into audio after a decade directing and producing for the stage, bringing with her a practiced command of narrative, pacing, and performance direction. That crossover gives her a distinct edge: she approaches audio like a rehearsal room without the walls, tightening storylines, guiding performers, and shaping sound so the listener feels pulled inside the world.
Allison co-created and directs Anxiety and the Artist, a critically regarded podcast exploring the realities of creative life. She worked with the Peabody Award-winning Gen-Z Media, on their first full-length fiction feature, Iowa Chapman and the Last Dog. Her work spans concept development, writers’ room support, talent direction, sound design oversight, and final editorial.
Alongside her creative credits, Allison brings a strong operational backbone. Her parallel career in project and lifestyle management has made her the person clients call when a production needs structure, scheduling rigor, clear communication, and decisive leadership.
Her training includes a BA in Theater from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst; a directing certificate from the Yale School of Drama; and classical and contemporary theater training from London’s Guildhall School. She is a member of Actors Equity (AEA), SAG-AFTRA, and an associate member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC).
